The all inclusive Almond Resorts chain originated in Barbados and has recently begun expansion in the Caribbean with the opening of the Almond Morgan Bay and Almond Smugglers Cove in Saint Lucia. These all inclusive hotels mark the first foray off the island and have been well received by the traveling public.

 Almond Resorts operates the Almond Beach Village for families and Almond Club and Spa for adults-only.  The third resort on Barbados, the Almond Casaurina Beach is scheduled for a 2007 opening.
